The gun metal primer is perfect for weapons, dark armour, mechanical parts, exoskeletons, robots, engines, cannons and metallic details with a gritty realistic appearance. Its steel-grey tone creates a smooth base ideal for black washes, silver drybrushing, weathering effects, worn edges and battle-damaged metallic surfaces.

1. Shake
Shake the can upside down for about 30 seconds.
2. Spray
Keep a distance of approximately 15-20 cm from the surface.
3. Layer
Apply light cross coats for a smooth and even finish.
Workbench tip:
For a deeper and more weathered metallic effect, apply a dark wash into the recesses and finish with a light drybrush on the edges: gun metal creates a solid and realistic metallic foundation.
