The matt rust base primer is perfect for abandoned vehicles, industrial wrecks, scrap metal, corroded armour, post-apocalyptic scenery and models that require a weathered effect straight from the base coat. Its reddish-brown tone creates the ideal foundation for chipping, weathering, dark washes, dusty pigments and oxidised details on military vehicles, machinery, dioramas and grimdark miniatures.

1. Shake
Shake the can upside down for about 30 seconds.
2. Spray
Keep a distance of approximately 15-20 cm from the surface.
3. Layer
Apply light cross coats for a smooth and even finish.
Workbench tip:
Two light coats are always better than one heavy pass: the primer bonds more evenly, dries more consistently and keeps every detail crisp and visible.
